Marketing Site Overhaul
A comprehensive audit and rewrite of the public marketing site to accurately reflect the platform’s current capabilities. The features, pricing, and homepage were all underselling what SpeyBooks actually does.
Features Page (v4.0)
- 5 spotlight features — Developer Shell, Migration Wizard, Auto-Categorisation, Limited Company, and API-First Design each get dedicated sections with visuals and capabilities grids.
- Migration Wizard spotlight — new SVG illustration showing the full migration flow: provider selection, 5-phase pipeline (contacts, opening balances, invoices, bills, execute), mathematical verification proof block, and completion stats.
- 18-card feature grid — expanded from 15 to include Opening Balances, OmniSearch (Cmd+K), and UK Data Residency.
- Trust strip — compact security confidence signal before the CTA: SSL Labs A+, HSTS, Argon2id, Row-Level Security, CSRF, rate limiting, UK data residency, double-entry triggers, and monthly security reports.
- Monthly security reports — automated security verification published to /insights, covering TLS configuration, HTTP headers, authentication hardening, and infrastructure checks.
- Stale badges removed — five “New” badges removed from features shipped weeks ago.
- Auto-Categorisation enhanced — copy now references the lattice-scored inference engine and includes a fifth capabilities card for the Rules API (create, test, reorder via endpoints).
DemoShell v2.0
The interactive shell demo on the features page now mirrors the real Developer Shell v3.0.
- Category-grouped routes — 38 curated routes across 6 categories matching the real shell’s layout, with the full 197-endpoint count shown in the banner.
- 9 new canned responses — Director Loan Accounts (transactions, balances, S455 exposure), Dividends (list, profit check, summary), and Reports (Profit & Loss, Balance Sheet, Directors).
- 25 clickable ID types — all production prefixes with longest-first regex matching.
- Route filtering —
routes invoice,routes DELETE, or any keyword to narrow results. envcommand — shows API base, auth mode, endpoint count, and history length.- Updated ghost suggestions — includes director-loans, dividends, and reports paths.
Pricing Page (v4.11)
- Fixed API docs link — now points to the correct reference at docs.speybooks.com/api/v1/.
- Fixed contact prefix —
con_corrected tocont_in the terminal example. - Fixed pagination key —
"pagination"corrected to"meta"to match the actual API response format. - Migration Wizard added — now listed in Core Accounting and in the pricing card feature list.
- Universal bank import — copy updated from “CSV bank import with UK bank presets” to reflect the ingestion engine’s automatic schema detection.
- Self Assessment added to roadmap — alongside MTD VAT, now described as “actively in progress” with HMRC recognition.
- OmniSearch added — listed under Developer Tools.
Homepage Updates
- Launch date corrected — “Soft Launch February 2026” updated to “Early Access · March 2026”.
- 197 endpoints — referenced in the hero copy and feature grid cards.
- Feature grid expanded — 6 cards to 9, adding Migration Wizard, Universal Bank Import, and Financial Reports.
- Contact prefix fixed —

- Pricing section enhanced — migration wizard and universal bank import added to the feature list, trial days now dynamic from the early access API.
